The Rheumatology Department of Dar Al Fouad Hospital is an arthritis centre dedicated to the diagnosis and treatment of rheumatic diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, lupus, gout, ankylosing spondylitis, osteoporosis, vasculitis, inflammatory muscle diseases, and many other connective tissue diseases. We also diagnose and treat bursitis, tendonitis, carpal tunnel syndrome, fibromyalgia, and other causes of musculoskeletal pain.

Rehabilitation is concerned with providing a tailored programme to patients in the hospital that have undergone major surgeries such as coronary artery bypass grafts (CABG), liver transplants, total knee replacements, total hip replacements and discectomies. The department also provides patients with guidance on breathing, circulation, ambulation and strengthening exercises.
